Blizzard Sign Mathiew Laflamme
The OCN Blizzard are pleased to announce the signing of 18 year-old winger Mathiew Laflamme. He’s from Thetford Mines, Quebec, which is about a one hour drive south of Quebec City.
Last year, the 5’10’’ 170lb Laflamme was a member of the Notre Dame Hounds of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA League. He scored 19 goals and 29 assists
“I’m very proud to sign with the Blizzard organization,” said Laflamme on Wednesday, “I have a good feeling about the next few years. Their goals are the same as mine – to win – that’s what I want.”
“Offensively, he’s got some upside,” said Blizzard Coach Doug Hedley, “He has ability, a great attitude and work ethic.”
“He’s part of what we’re looking at to establish in our organization for 18-year-olds.” |
