  What’s happening around the MJHL?

Beausejour Blades have traded the Hockey Canada playing rights of 19 year old forward Brad Mailman to the Sioux Lookout Flyers of the SIJHL for the Hockey Canada playing rights of forward Paul Peterson, 19.

In a second trade the Blades traded the Hockey Canada playing rights of 18 year old forward Trevor McNeil and 20 year old defenseman Ryan Stokes to the Restigouche Tigers of the MJAHL for the Hockey Canada playing rights of 19 year old forward Robbie McCarthy.



WINNIPEG – The first step to the World Junior A Challenge begins this weekend for 17 members of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL). The 17 MJHL players will participate in a three-day evaluation camp this weekend in Yorkton, Sk. Players from the Saskatchewan Junior and The Superior International Junior Hockey League (SIJHL) will also be participating in the camp, which will be held at the Gallagher Centre. MORE


Blizzard acquire defenseman from Ice Wolves and send one to the Flyers
OCN Blizzard have traded the Hockey Canada playing rights of defenseman Garrett Brook 19, to the Winkler Flyers for future considerations.

In another move, the Blizzard acquired the Hockey Canada playing rights of defenseman Riel Thomson, 20, from the La Ronge Ice Wolves of the SJHL for future considerations.


Veteran Goaltender Traded
OCN Blizzard have traded the Hockey Canada playing rights of goaltender Pierre Olivier Lemieux, 20 to the Neepawa Natives for future considerations.
