Blizzard Hammer Terriers

The OCN Blizzard (8-3-1) bounced back from a tough start to the weekend with a huge win against the Portage Terriers last night.

It was the largest margin of victory for the Blizzard this season. They got multi goal games from Tavis Roch, Curtis Scales and George King. The Blizzard also got goals from Justin Nachbaur, Maverick Rafter, Brady Valiquette and Jeremy Dumont. Other players with contributions on the score sheet include Brady Keeper, Taran Lacquette, Taylor Derynck, Kyle Wiltshire, Anthony Keeper, Brayden Dale and Shane Roulette.

Offensively the Blizzard exploded scoring a minimum of 3 goals in each period. The Blizzard found the back of the Portage net 10 times on just 35 shots.

Between the pipes for OCN, Emilien Boily got the start for the second straight night posting 21 saves on 23 shots while recording his 5th win of the season. Both Emilien Boily and Brett Epp are off to greats in goal for the OCN Blizzard.

For the OCN Blizzard they continue to sit 4th in the MJHL standings and have a busy week ahead. They face the Swan Valley Stampeders on Wednesday, Neepawa Natives on Friday and Steinbach Pistons on both Saturday and Sunday. All of which are at home.
