The OCN Blizzard open a tough 3 game road weekend tonight in Steinbach. The first placed Steinbach Pistons will welcome the second placed OCN Blizzard for their third meeting of the season, first in Steinbach.  (read more...)

The OCN Blizzard come into tonight’s matchup coming off only their 4th regulation loss of the season, at the hands of Swan Valley on Tuesday night. The Blizzard will look to get back to their winning ways against a good Piston team tonight.

For Steinbach, they’re coming off a big win over Neepawa on Wednesday night. It was a back and forth affair that saw the game tied 4 separate times, ultimately ending in a 8-7 Piston victory. It wasn’t a great night for either goaltender as Piston starter Roman Bengert allowed 5 goals on just 26 shots before being replaced by Matt Radomsky. Neepawa goalie Evan Robert made just 33 saves on 41 shots.

The two teams come into tonight’s contest atop the MJHL Standings. Steinbach comes in at 18-2-1 while OCN sits with a 15-4-3 record. The Blizzard will look to close the gap on Steinbach for first place in the MJHL standings.
