The OCN Blizzard have acquired FW-Victor Knaub (1996) from the Selkirk Steelers in exchange for the MJHL List Rights of G-Dylan Myskiw (1999) and Future Considerations.

Knaub listed as a 6 foot 220 pound forward will bring a lot of toughness and physicality to an OCN Blizzard team that shutout Virden twice this weekend.

Knaub, scored 8 times and added 5 assists last season for 13 points in 53 games. Knaub also racked up 173 penalty minutes in those games.

Victor is the younger brother of Michael Knaub(1995) a forward who finished his junior career as an MJHL champion with Portage last season.

Going to Selkirk are the rights to G Dylan Myskiw and future considerations. Myskiw is currently playing for Victoria of the Western Hockey League and was selected 112th overall in the 2014 WHL draft. In 3 games played in Victoria, Myskiw has a 0-1 record with a .887 save percentage and a 2.86 goals against average in 2016.
