Blizzard defeat Kings on Wednesday night Matchup

GAME NIGHT IN THE PAS- 

The OCN Blizzard came out swinging Wednesday night as they faced off against the Dauphin Kings, this early push earned the team a 3-1 victory out of the Roy H Arena.

No goals were put up by either team during the first period with the game being seemingly close, fast-forward to the second period with Blizzard Dustin Mozdzen (#23) scoring the first goal of the game.  Up next Jaden Pashe (#17) with another goal two-minutes later giving the blizzard a 2-0 lead over the kings.

Going into the third period Ryan Butler (#19) finally puts one into the back of the net after multiple opportunities and gives the blizzard a 3-0 advantage.  With just over four minutes left in the period the Kings answer back with a single goal from DeKoninck making the final score 3-Blizzard and 1-Kings.

Goaltender Zack Cloutier earning himself first game star stopping 49 of the 50 goals shot on net by the Dauphin Kings.

The OCN Blizzard still remain in 10th spot with a (13-23-3) record for the season, putting them 8 points behind the 8th spot team the Selkirk Steelers.

Next OCN Blizzard action is Friday night as they travel to Neepawa to face off against the Neepawa Natives.
