Blizzard Travel to Winnipeg for Game 3. Lead Series 2-0.

The OCN Blizzard are in Winnipeg both tonight and tomorrow for games 3 and 4 of the MJHL-Quarter Final Series against the Blues. The Blizzard lead the series 2-0 after back to back home wins on the weekend.

Now the scene has shifted, as the clubs will play games 3 and 4 from Winnipeg. The Blues will try and get back in the series with help from a home crowd.

The Blizzard took control of the series early with a 3-2 win in game 1. A game where the Blizzard jumped out to an early lead to only have the Blues claw back to tie it twice. It wasn’t until the third period when Victor Knaub ripped home the winner, giving the Blizzard the early series lead.

Game 2 followed the next night from the GLMC as once again OCN jumped out to an early lead with Lantz Hiebert getting his first of two goals. After adding a couple more OCN found themselves with leads of 3-1 and 4-2 in the game. Eventually taking game two, 6-2.

Tonight is game 3 from the Iceplex in Winnipeg. The Blizzard have an opportunity to take a stranglehold with a win tonight. A victory for the Blues can put them right back in the series.
