The OCN Blizzard are extremely pleased to announce that the club has acquired 20-year old forward Logan Harland from the Portage Terriers for the MJHL list rights of 15-year old defenseman Tyler Van Deynze and future considerations.
Harland, the 5’11 195lb forward from Frenchman Butte, SK, is a Western Hockey League veteran of over 90 games. In 94 games split between the Vancouver Giants and Saskatoon Blades, Harland has accumulated 14 goals, 9 assists for 23 points along with 35 penalty minutes.
“We are very excited and looking forward to the debut of Logan Harland with the Blizzard this season,” Blizzard Head Coach/GM Jason Smith added. “He will bring a strong work ethic and great leadership to a group of players who have the same characteristics. This deal makes our organization better on and off the ice, and will help us in taking another step closer to our goal of being a top team in the MJHL.”
“It’s an honour to be a part of the Blizzard organization.” Harland added. “I can’t wait to contribute and bring leadership towards the exciting season ahead. I want to thank the Blizzard staff for giving me this great opportunity to finish my junior career with a great group of guys.”
The OCN Blizzard would like to officially welcome Logan to the organization.
